Artwork on display through 10/30
The month is already half over, but it's not too late to go by the Corvallis Arts Center in downtown Corvallis to see the Around Oregon Annual exhibit. My EconoDryer painting is on display and priced for sale (1400).

Second Mural of two
I've been working on the prep work (sanding, gesso, gesso, gesso, base drawing) for the second mural commission. Finally I have put down some oil paint. This piece is larger than the first. There are 4 panels, each 46" square with a 6" space separating them.

More work from the weekend on the mural - it is basically finished! I feel like I need to do another once-over to be sure, but I may decide to go ahead with varnishing. Some detail views:

Blog Interview
So, I did this little interview with some nice N. Carolina folks with the Etsy NC Triangle Street Team. They're fellow etsy users/sellers. The interview is about Beth Bee Books stuff. It can be found on their collaborative blog, here:

On display through mid-April @ ArtCentric
I forgot to mention that I have my Repaired Building with Birds painting on display since late last month through mid-April at the Howland Open Exhibit at Artcentric in Corvallis. I've entered this community exhibit for several years now. Go check it out if you're around those parts.
